FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. NO AIRPORT SHUTTLE Do not book this hotel if you are looking for a shuttle to or from the airport. They did allow a refund as they should since their website is lying. They seem to have minimal staff. Go to the Marriott 1/2 mile away. Much nicer.

Room was nice and bed was soft. Breakfast had a nice selection. No issues with the stay. After I returned home, I received a charge of $82.36 on my credit card. This room was prepaid. I called the hotel directly and was told it was the temporary charge of $100.00. Which of course it was not because it was $82.36. The Fairfield employee told me to dispute it with the CC company. She didn't want to check into the issue and get it corrected on their end. So. I contacted the CC company to dispute it. What a waste of everyone's time because the employee didn't want to help.

The hotel is 5 minutes from the airport so plane noise is an issue. Beds are high off the ground so if you are elderly and can’t climb up, this hotel is not for you. Rooms are stuffy until the unit can kick in. Bathrooms are run down. Views are horrible. Our water in the shower was lukewarm at best. When I spoke to the front desk about it they said they would fix it after we left. The couple in front of me complained and got a discount. I was nicer about my complaint and got NOTHING. The bathroom has one outlet. There is a long mirror in the room. It has 1 outlet near it but it can’t fit a wider plug. It is darker in that area, putting on makeup there is difficult. Outlets on the lamps on both sides of the bed but no USB outlets. Breakfast was basic. Powdered eggs, biscuits & gravy, cereal, oatmeal and yogurt are available. If you are gluten free, nothing is marked so you will have to use your own judgement. I didn’t use the pool so I can’t comment on that. Hotel is in a sketchy area, I wouldn’t be out in dark. I would not stay here again.

Deposit Scam not refunded - double billed

I've stayed at this property several times. It's a very convenient location for me but they cut a lot of corners and the staff doesn't seem to be serious about anything. I put up with until the last stay. They always charge my card as I check in for a deposit. I suspected soe unwarranted charges on one prior stay at this location so I watched my billing pretty close. They never refunded the deposit (first night stay). I stayed 5 days. They charged my card separatly for the first night and then charged my card again for all 5 nights. So I was charged for the first night twice. I considered that it might be an honest mistake. But, they refused to provide a reciept for that separate first night charge. They won't discuss it. I have called at least a dozen times and each time they promise to look into it and send documentation but they never do. I called Marriott Bonvoy customer care. They sent them a message asking for a response but they never followed up.

Very suspect hotel. This hotel is a safe house or transient facility. Not safe to stay here - strange comings and goings through the night. Poor management if any - manager always absent - avoid this hotel if you don’t want to be disappointed- many other brand named hotels close by.
